Help us shaping the future of the network!

The Young Energy Professional Network was founded in 2015 by New Zealand's representatives in the Future Energy Leader programme. Since then, we have been invited to present our views in front of Executives across the industry at the Downstream conference. We have held events, drinks, and regular newsletters. Now is the time to reflect on our activities and ensure we keep delivering value to our members.

We have designed a survey to gather your views. Please take 10 minutes to answer our questions and to pass this link over to the fellow young professionals in your organisation, and make sure they subscribe to our mailing list. The survey is open until 11 March 2018, but if you respond before 5pm Friday 02 March, you will be in the draw to win a delegate pass to the Downstream conference. See below for terms and conditions.

As always, we are keen to hear your comments, ideas and perspective, so if you've got something to share, get in touch with us at yepn@bec.org.nz.

On behalf of the
Young Energy Professionals Network
Congratulations to Bennet Tucker
Bennet has been appointed to the Board of the Future Energy leader programme. This is an incredible opportunity for him and shows how New Zealand is valued within the World Energy Council.

YEPN Survey
One core value of our network is to be inclusive and collaborative. This is why we want to have your views on what we can do to keep delivering value to our members.

If you respond before Friday 02 March at 5pm, we will put you in the draw to win a delegate pass to the Downstream conference. Terms and conditions apply.

Networking 101
Although networking is an essential part of your professional career, it is not always a natural skill. Read this article from Sheena S. Iyengar, Professor of Business at Columbia Business School to give you some tips on where to start.
We are coming to Auckland!
We are looking to expand the network beyond Wellington. Last year, we held a couple of workshops, and we were stoked by the response from our Auckland-based members. We want to set up a more permanent structure to help facilitating events in the city of sails. If it sounds like something you could help us with, email us!
